1. Executive Summary

Chelsea Grimm departed Ocean Beach, San Diego on 2023-09-24 in a white Ford SUV with her bearded dragon "Blondie" (named after her deceased ex-boyfriend Nick). Her phone went dark permanently at 2023-09-27 15:40 MST near US 60 & N 203rd Ave. Over the next three days she moved systematically through northern Arizona — Seligman (Aztec Motel, tried to pay in Euros), Williams (cemetery encounter by Williams PD, Worthington property where she stated her destination was "Humphreys" — Humphreys Peak), and into the Kaibab National Forest where she camped on a ridgeline above MK Tank. On 2023-09-30 at 17:52 she took her final photograph at her vehicle on Forest Service Road 6 (locked, two flat passenger-side tires, out of gas). Between 17:52 and 23:45 she left the car on foot — the bearded dragon appears in photos deceased at the vehicle (whether this was an intentional act is unconfirmed), she wrote on a Shell gas receipt "lets take you home blondie", locked the vehicle, and took a tarp, backpack, ~1 gallon water, AAA Arizona almanac, bank cards, and "Chant and Be Happy" (Hare Krishna). On 2023-10-20 a blue shelter was drone-spotted on the ridgeline above MK Tank — matching the blue shelter visible in Chelsea's backpack in her Instagram story — believed (but NOT 100% confirmed) to be Chelsea, 20 days after last contact.

Current working theory: The most probable scenario is that Chelsea remains in the Kaibab forest. Evidence supporting: (1) premeditated, planned departure; (2) Anasazi Foundation wilderness training (49-day primitive survival program — muscle memory intact); (3) the unconfirmed blue shelter ridge sighting Oct 20; (4) bank cards never used since 2023-09-30 (never reached civilization); (5) social media silent since 2023-09-28; (6) spiritual-psychosis state compatible with Hindu vanaprastha (forest-dweller) + Biblical mountain symbolism. However, all alternate theories remain on the table.

Two parallel active case pillars:
PILLAR 1 — Physical search in the Kaibab. Search Investigations' cumulative effort since Dec 2025 (14 search days across multiple operations, including the 3/27–4/2/26 5-day push) has covered 95% of the 0–0.5 mi radius from the shelter ridge, 86% at 0.5–1.0 mi, down to 34% at 2.5–3.0 mi. 84,000 drone images processed via ADIAT (color match on Chelsea's teal tarp) and Eagle Eye (anomaly detection). 259 routes tracked, 100+ drone videos. Priority search corridor: egress drainage SSW 4–7 mi from the shelter, with best-guess single point at 35.2960, -112.4180.

PILLAR 2 — Phone/SIM activation investigation. Chelsea's missing iPhone X (Serial C38VM2NEJCL8, IMEI 359408082931975) was confirmed by an Apple software engineer on 2025-08-04 to have been physically activated on 2024-05-17. CRITICAL: the iPhone X does NOT support eSIM — someone with physical possession had to insert a nano-SIM. UPDATED 2026-04-11: the U.S. carrier code visible in the Apple activation data is T-Mobile US (IMSI prefix 310260), NOT Verizon. The foreign carrier is A1 Slovenia (not Telekom Slovenia, not Slovakia). The pattern — 124 IMSIs across 61 country codes under a single timestamp with no time gaps — is consistent with a multi-IMSI / programmable TRAVEL SIM presenting many identities simultaneously, most likely an A1 Slovenia SIM roaming onto T-Mobile US. This fits a phone-reuse / repair / unlock / resale context. UK + Canada source IPs are suggestive of VPN/proxy but could also be Apple relay infrastructure or imprecise geolocation — literal IPs still need classification. NEW HIGHEST-PRIORITY DOMESTIC SUBPOENA: T-Mobile US for attach records against IMSI 310260... and IMEI 359408082931975. NEW: Search Investigations has contacted the Arizona Game & Fish director requesting a cross-reference of European hunters who obtained AZ hunting tags — potential finder-of-phone lead. 2. Key Findings

  1. iPhone X physically activated 2024-05-17 — 7.5 months after disappearance. Apple activation logs: 200 unique events in a 37-minute window, 124 IMSIs in the authoritative Apple sheet (274 in CCSO's broader dataset) sharing MSIN suffix ...73956326 across 61 mobile country codes, 2 unknown foreign ICCIDs, source IPs in Canada and UK, SIM policy code CYPRESS. Apple software engineer confirmed in person 2025-08-04: Chelsea's physical device had been activated (not an IMEI clone). CRITICAL: iPhone X has NO eSIM — physical nano-SIM required, meaning someone with hands-on possession inserted a SIM. UPDATED CARRIER READ (2026-04-11): the US identifier is T-Mobile US (IMSI prefix 310260) — NOT Verizon; the foreign carrier is A1 Slovenia — NOT Telekom Slovenia. The pattern points to a single multi-IMSI / programmable TRAVEL SIM (likely A1 Slovenia roaming onto T-Mobile US) presenting many carrier identities simultaneously — consistent with a phone-reuse / repair-shop / unlock / resale context.   2. Blue shelter drone-spotted on ridgeline above MK Tank, 2023-10-20 — "believed to be" Chelsea, NOT confirmed. Coordinates 35.37961, -112.38696. The shelter color matched the blue shelter visible in Chelsea's backpack in her Instagram story. Textbook Anasazi-trained camp placement (ridge directly above water source; MK Tank 580 ft below). If this is Chelsea, she survived at least 20 days in the forest. ⚠ Not 100% verified. CCSO helicopter footage from the 2023-10-06/07 initial SAR has been requested to corroborate — response pending.   3. Premeditated departure. Over 3 days Chelsea systematically disabled tracking: Find My disabled Sept 27 15:06; SIM card thrown out the same day (Sept 27) — phone went dark at 15:40; left phone + camera + iPad in the car; locked the vehicle; the bearded dragon is photographed deceased at the vehicle — interpretation as a ritual severance is inferred, not confirmed (the dragon's name "Blondie" was also the nickname of her deceased ex Nick, who she believed was communicating with her through the dragon); wrote on a Shell gas receipt from Clover Hill Shell Williams AZ: "lets take you home blondie" ("Harry," referenced elsewhere on the receipt, was a stranger who gave her $10 for gas); took tarp, backpack, ~1 gal water, AAA Arizona almanac, bank cards, "Chant and Be Happy".   4. Anasazi Foundation wilderness training — 49-day primitive survival program. Chelsea completed the Anasazi program (bow-drill fire, shelter building, foraging, primitive gear, backcountry travel) plus at least one other similar program. Muscle memory was still functioning during the psychotic episode: she camped on a ridge directly above water, traveled with water, and — if the Oct 20 blue shelter is hers — survived 20+ days alone.   5. Bank cards NEVER used since 2023-09-30. Chelsea took her bank cards with her when she left the vehicle — she intended to reach civilization eventually. Zero transactions since Sept 30, zero social media activity since Sept 28, zero cellular activity since Sept 27 15:40. She never reached a population center.   6. Stated destination: HUMPHREYS PEAK (Biblical mountain symbolism + Hindu vanaprastha). Per Danielle Worthington's Sept 28 20:32 encounter, Chelsea said she was going to "Humphreys" — Humphreys Peak (highest point in AZ, ~45 mi ESE of her camp). Consistent with her day-of-departure Facebook #shadowwork activity, her shares of "The Tiny Home With Glass Ceilings Are the Ultimate Starry Retreats!", the Hare Krishna book (compatible with walking as spiritual practice, vanaprastha forest-dweller stage), and Biblical mountain symbolism.   7. Sept 30: said "walk out north", actually went SOUTH. At ~11:00 AM on Sept 30, Arizona G&F officer Karen Klima encountered Chelsea in a meadow at 35.38235, -112.36843. Chelsea said she would walk out — and indicated NORTH. Klima recommended SOUTH. Chelsea refused help (one of 4 sets that day). Search Investigations ran a 5-day search operation (Mar 27 – Apr 2, 2026) anchored on the ridge above MK Tank where the Oct 20 2023 blue shelter was drone-spotted (unconfirmed). Key stats:

  2. P1 — Complete ADIAT + Eagle Eye processing on all 84,000 drone images (cumulative since Dec 2025) and ground-verify detections.
  3. P1 — S/SSE Corridor 2–5 mi from shelter. Coverage drops to 34% at 2.5–3 mi, near-zero beyond.
  4. P2 — Mesa Tank + Elk Tank (east water chain). If Chelsea drifted east toward "Humphreys". Mesa Tank 2 tracks, Elk Tank ZERO tracks. Search 1 mi radius + connecting corridor.
  5. P3 — Inner Gap S of Shelter (0.8–2 mi). 12+ uncovered cells. Quick clear to rule out.
  6. P3 — Paradise Tanks / White Truck corridor. Foul play not ruled out.
